After 30 minutes of dry grinding, sample starts sticking lightly to bowl and balls. After 35 minutes of grinding, sticking became stronger. A longer dry grinding time is not recommended.

With the rough surfaced sintered corundum, an equal fineness will be achieved much faster. After 15 minutes of grinding, sample starts sticking to bowl and balls. A longer dry grinding time is not recommended.

Because of the sintered surface, a bit higher wear off is expected to be found (compared to other grinding materials like agate, zirconium oxide, steel, etc).

To achieve a better grinding result, we recommend grinding in suspension (e.g. with solvents)
