Pittcon is the world’s leading annual conference and exposition on laboratory science. Besides introducing our innovations, our team also participated in in a variety of events during the PITTCON:
The Fritsch team members shared their expertise with industry and regulatory professionals in a moderated session titled Cannabis Testing Forum: New Opportunities for Enhancing Quality and Expanding Research and also was featured in a talk related to extraction science in the session Optimize This! How Grinding, Packing and Pushing Can Improve Cannabis Extraction.
The Lab Gauntlet is a series of short, fun, one-minute challenges where attendees compete for prizes. Our challenge for the participants was to match comminuted samples to the original whole material item and for them to guess which milling technology was used for samples with different material properties. Participants were astonished to see a mobile phone reduced into powder.
Help Pittcon Make a Difference was a focus for our team and booth visitors. For each badge scanned, we donated $2 to the PEAL center which benefits children, youth, and adults with Autism and other disabilities. Overall donations totaled $9000+.
The FRITSCH exhibit booth contained like always new and long standing instrument technologies used for milling and sizing, as well as our promotional video:
