Cutting Mills - Unmatched ease of cleaning

Flexible and robust

Cutting Mills are ideal for comminution of soft to medium-hard, brittle, fibrous, tough or temperature-sensitive materials as well as plastics and for preparation of heterogeneous mixtures. The samples are comminuted by cutting and shearing forces, and the selected sieve cassette determines the final fineness.
Various knife geometries and replaceable blades ensure maximum flexibility and durability. Cutting tools of various steel types as well as of hardmetal tungsten carbide can be used for controlling the abrasion problems.

    The Universal Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 19 is now available completely in stainless steel

  • PULVERISETTE 19 - with 300-360 rpm

    The Universal Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 19 is also available with 300-360 rpm (revolutions per minute). The extreme cutting forces (power consumption 2590 Watt) ensure due to the lower number of revolutions of the gear motor and the therefore lower cutting rate a very powerful and gentle size-reduction and is therefore ideal

    • for comminution of smaller sample amounts
    • for grinding of extremely hard tough-elastic samples for example leather, hard wood cubes, plastics, electronic scrap, lead, natural rubber, cellular concrete
    • for avoiding thermal damages
    • if due to the comminution, the loss of easily volatile substances is anticipated
    • if for example chain degradation is expected during the comminution of plastics for the determination of the melt flow index
    • if a larger fine share is to be avoided, since this would for example after the repelletisation clog the extruder or promote the loss of volatile substances

    Additional models with other revolutions and therefore higher cutting speeds are available upon request!
