Grinding bowls with a volume of 500ml are suitable for sample volumes of 80-225ml.

After 5 minutes of grinding, the desired endfineness < 100µm has been reached.

Longer grinding times might be able achieving even better dry grinding results.

Second quality of coke sample could be ground with 3 minutes to a fineness of < 60µm.

If higher amounts should be ground, we recommend using 500ml bowls on e.g. Planetary Mill PULVERISETTE 5 classic line with up to 4 bowl fasteners.
